Varoujan Hakhbandian, who was a composer


Varozh Hakhbandian, who is known by his stage name Varujan , was born into an Armenian family in Qazvin on December 13, 1315. He was two years old when he lost his mother.  Varujan entered the high school of music. He moved to capital and learned music under the tutelage of masters such as Ruben Grigorian and Ludwig Basile.  After this, Varujan went to the American College of Music for four years with a radio and television scholarship.
