Comrade Shahid narrates: On the 17th of December 1359, we went to Mahshahr Road from Abadan for operations and to liberate some parts. We crossed the channel and approached the enemy’s trenches in silence; the operation was successful. 300 enemy forces were killed in the area. But when the weather cleared, the forces under the command of Bani Sadr did not support us, and we were forced to retreat with the enemy forces. Shah Rukh stayed in the trench so that the troops could go back.
