Mohajerani spent his first coaching period in Japan and during a three-month period in this country under the supervision of the biggest coaches in world football at that time. It took him some time to get his first coaching position. He himself read the news of his coaching for the first time through the newspapers. In 1349, he was selected as the coach of Iran’s under-21 team. The coaching period of Heshmat Mohajerani was the time of many young football talents: Nazari, Barzegari, Qasimpour, and Bashkar were among the players who were introduced to Iranian football by Mohajerani.
