Most of Al-Khimi’s works are in the socio-political genre. In addition to film activities, he has also written novels and poems. Kimiaei started filmmaking with the Akhwan brothers and continued his work with Ariana Film Studios for Qaiser Film and Payam Cinema Organization for Reza Motori Film (1349). He made three Baloch films, Khak and Gozhanha, for Iranian producer Mehdi Mithaqiyeh, and he made his intellectual film Ghazal (1355) for Tel Film and Dash Akal (1350) for Rashidian Brothers.
