After the Afghan attack, all these endowments, including the caravanserai, were destroyed. However, the painting drawn during the reign of Mohammad Shah Qajar shows that this caravanserai was active at that time. In 1336, with the support of the then government, a lease was signed between the Organization of Endowments and Charitable Affairs and Homeland Insurance, stating that Homeland Insurance would establish a hotel in this place at its own expense and operate it after completion.
