Afjahi also planned to assassinate Mohammadi Gilani and Asadollah Lajurdi, but Kechui noticed his approach and went forward to confront him. As a result of the bullets, Kechui was hit and killed on the spot. Afjehai fled to the third floor of the building after the assassination and threw himself down. He died after being transferred to the hospital.
