Abdullah Mowahed, the second best wrestler in the history of Homeland

Abdullah Mohed Ardabili started sports in swimming, rowing and volleyball and then switched to wrestling. At the age of seventeen, he came to Tehran and pursued wrestling in the Capital Jovan Club and then the Finance Club.Mowahed’s first appearance was in the 1963 World Championships in Sofia, where he finished 6th after a loss to Turkey’s Mahmut Atala and a draw with Bulgaria’s Involchev.
