The elder of this family, Ustad Parviz Khan Pournazari, known as Haji Khan, was one of the students of Darvish Khan and Colonel Waziri. Most of the musicians of Kermanshah have been introduced to authentic Iranian music by him. This suitable artistic environment allowed Shahram Nazeri to perform his first artistic program on Kermanshah Radio at the age of 7, together with Tar Darvishi, one of the famous musicians of Kermanshah at that time. After that, at the age of 11, he was able to perform several Iranian singing programs on Iran’s radio and television.
