After immigrating to the United States, Perto Nouri Ala was employed as a jury foreman in the Los Angeles District High Court and retired after 25 years of his own volition. All of Perto’s literary and artistic works were censored in Homeland. By leaving Iran, Perto was able to create and publish his works. He has published many articles and speeches about the condition of Persian women.
