The presence of Oman’s foreign minister at Hossein Amirabdollahian’s house

Amirabdollahian’s career in diplomacy began in the late 1990s with his posting to Iran’s embassy in Baghdad. His significant contributions were recognized, and in 2007, he was selected as part of a delegation to engage in talks with the US held in Iraq. That same year, he was appointed ambassador to Bahrain, a position he held until 2010.In 2011, Amirabdollahian became the deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs under Mohammad Javad Zarif, who was a key figure in negotiating the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with world powers. Despite his eventual removal from this position in 2016, he continued to wield influence as a special assistant to Ali Larijani, then the speaker of the parliament.
