Larijani pursued his education with a focus on philosophy, which later influenced his approach to governance and policy. He attended Sharif University of Technology, where he earned a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He then continued his studies at the University of Tehran, obtaining a master’s degree in Western Philosophy.Larijani’s political career began in earnest when he joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) following the Iranian Revolution in 1979. His involvement in the IRGC provided him with valuable military and strategic experience, which he later applied to his political endeavors.
