Iloosh Khoshabe who was famous as Hercules of Persian cinema


Despite his success abroad, Ilosh maintained strong ties to his homeland. In 1966 (1345 in the Persian calendar), he returned to Iran for two months to star in the film “Hossein Kord.” After completing this project, he went back to Italy, where he continued his acting career and pursued studies in mechanical engineering at the prestigious Academy of Rome.Ilosh eventually returned to Tehran in the early summer of 1990 (1369 in the Persian calendar), where he settled down with his family. Despite his fame and achievements, Ilosh faced health challenges in his later years. He suffered from lung and kidney disease, and after a week-long hospitalization in the intensive care unit of Tehran’s Sar Mohar Hospital, he passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2012 (1391 in the Persian calendar), at the age of 80.
