Ventures in Music
Despite his success in acting, Sepand never abandoned his passion for music. He started learning the tanbak instrument as a child and later played the tambourine. His musical journey continued with the three-string instrument under the tutelage of Massoud Shaari. However, his love for pop music led him to learn the guitar, which suited his musical style better.
Musical Achievements
Sepand’s musical talents are not limited to playing instruments. He also pursued singing, with notable Iranian singer Mohammad Nouri recognizing his potential and offering to teach him for free. Although his busy acting career often interfered with his musical pursuits, Sepand managed to produce and perform several pieces. In 2013, he performed the song “Del Bede” for Morteza Ahmadi’s 40th ceremony, and in October 2014, he released “Autumn Night,” a slow rock piece that showcased his vocal and musical abilities.
Personal Life
Sepand Amir Soleimani’s personal life has been as dynamic as his professional career. He met Maral Arasteh in 2005 and married her in 2007. The couple appeared to be very happy and supportive of each other in the early years of their marriage. Sepand often spoke highly of his wife in interviews, describing her as kind and understanding, and highlighting the strong bond they shared.
Marriage and Divorce
However, their happiness was short-lived. In 1397 (2018), Sepand announced on the “Formula One” program that he and Maral had separated. He cited family differences and a lack of agreement on various issues as the reasons for their divorce. This candid revelation highlighted the challenges that even public figures face in their personal lives.
