The father of Homeland’s truck industry

Asghar Khandachi owned a large garage in Qazvin gate of Tehran. The parts of the Mack truck that Hossein Mirdamadi brought from America were assembled by Kandachi in the garage, while he strengthened some parts of this truck according to the geography of Iran. The rough roads of Iran made the height of the chassis one meter higher. The Minister of Economy at the time, Alinaqi Alikhani, along with his deputy, Reza Nazam, saw an innovator in the field of industry in a corner of Tehran’s garages, and because his work was needed by Iran, in the same corner of the garage, the Minister of Economy wrote a license for the construction of a truck in the name of Asghar Khandachi and gave him presented.
