The funeral ceremony of Sardar Mohammad Rabiei, one of the war commanders and Ali Rabiei’s brother, was held on Monday, August 15, 1403, with the presence of political activists and national and military officials in the Baath Hall of the Prophet’s Mosque. Ali Rabiei is a reformist politician who served as the government spokesman from 1398 to 1400 in the 12th government. He held the position of Minister of Cooperation, Labor, and Social Welfare in the 11th and 12th governments between 1392 and 1397. Rabiei was the only adviser of Mirhossein Mousavi in the 2008 presidential election, who before the end of the voting, at the media conference announcing Mousavi’s definite victory in the election with a very large difference in votes, stood next to him in front of the reporters and claimed victory.
