Dolatshahi comes from a family of accomplished individuals. Her mother served as the vice president of the Iranian Swimming Federation and was a faculty member at Tarbiat Moalem University. Meanwhile, her father is a mechanical engineer. Sahar also has two siblings: a sister, Nasim, who pursued a doctorate in archeology in Berlin, and a brother, Ruzbeh, who holds a master’s degree in computing from Canada. Interestingly, Sahar’s family heritage ties back to the Qajar dynasty, adding a layer of historical significance to her lineage.

Theater Beginnings

Sahar Dolatshahi’s professional journey in the world of acting began in the early 2000s. Her first foray into acting came through experimental theater at the age of 20.
