Veteran actress Azita Lachini was also among the other participants in the ceremony. Azita Lachini was born on December 16, 1938, in the Qavam-od-Doleh market in Vazir-e-Nizam Alley, Capital. Three years after her early marriage, her husband died at the age of 11. The result of this marriage was a daughter and a son. Due to pregnancy at a young age, she lost her son when he was only a few months old. Azita Lachini said in one of her interviews that after her husband’s death, when Azita Lachini was 13 years old, her two-year-old daughter was taken from her, and she returned to her father’s house and continued her education. She remarried in 1955 and had five children. Of these, two sons died young for various reasons. She began her career as a radio announcer and performer in 1959. Azita Lachini entered the field of acting through her second husband, Amir Mozaffar al-Din Lachini, and adopted his last name. In 1961, she had her first experience in theater, and in 1962, she began acting as a film actress in the film Traveler from Paradise, directed by Nosratollah Vahdat.
