Because I believe in it 100%. Even the word “dance” has become a bad place in people’s minds. To the extent that they have replaced the word “dance” with the word “dance”… The “Association of Dance Designers” was formed, and they changed its name again, that is, they have called it the “Association of Speechless Movement Performers”. I objected to this composition, I opposed it. But anyway, in people’s minds, dance is a presentation of the body, that is, a light work. Dance reminds some people who have always played the form of dance with unreasonable and incorrect movements, and anyway, dance has been in it. That is why people have these images in their minds from very distant times and think that what we say is what they saw at that time.
We love it here and we love to live here and work here. As a result, we have to deal with its problems as best we can or will allow.
I always hope for the future of dance in Iran. And I really want this concept to find its true form… But we have to wait. I will not give up. I am so interested and love this work and try to show it in its right form that I will never be disappointed. I hope very much and I am standing very firmly to tell my audience this and show them that dance is an art and not a display of the body. But it is very difficult to stay in these conditions and work like this. I would also like everyone to finally understand that this is an art that is not paid attention to at all.
I fought a lot. A lot… I went to Evin Prison twice for this dance. Once I was there for a month and a half and the other time I stayed for a day and came back. But each time I went, I returned proud, I came back stronger and started my training again the next day… They also know in their subconscious that I look at this as an art form and in its right form. I have never forced children or myself to wear revealing clothes or even short sleeves for the sake of the viewer’s attention. Everyone knows that I have not come to show dance in its awkward and irrelevant form to children or to my audience.
