Joining the Tehran Symphony Orchestra
At the age of 17, Shahbazian’s skills and passion gained him entry into the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Heshmat Sanjari. This milestone not only elevated his status as a musician but also exposed him to a world of professional artistry. Around the same time, he joined the Radio Flowers Orchestra, initially led by Ruhollah Khaleghi and later by Javad Maroufi. These early experiences laid a solid foundation for his future endeavors in orchestration and conducting.
Leadership Roles and Musical Evolution
In 1345, Shahbazian assumed the role of leader of the Radio Symphony Orchestra and Choir. He simultaneously pursued his academic studies, graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tehran University. The combination of his academic training and practical experience enriched his understanding of both traditional and modern music, enabling him to bridge these worlds seamlessly.
