Career in Theater and Film

Valizadeh’s early exposure to theater occurred during his high school years when he participated in amateur plays. In 1938–1937, he joined the Tehran Theater in Lalehzar and performed a minor role as a beggar in a play directed by Ms. Morin, the wife of Mansour Matin. Through Matin, a prominent theater and film dubbing artist, Valizadeh was introduced to the Shahin Film Studio on Bahar Street, where he began honing his skills in voice acting.

Under Matin’s guidance, Valizadeh worked on several short films before being introduced to Ali Kasmaei, a veteran in the field of dubbing. After years of internship, he secured a lead role in the film “Hellfarer,” followed by “Dukhtar Banafsheh Prosh.” His official entry into acting came in 1961 when he was introduced to Amin Amini by Taji Ahmadi of Golden Age Studio. His first film appearance was in “Khodad” (1962), marking the beginning of a career that spanned nearly two decades, during which he starred in approximately 18 films until the late 1970s.

Among his notable film roles, Valizadeh co-starred with Behrouz Vosoughi in “Lost Flower” (1962) and “Angel in My House” (1963). He also appeared alongside Reza Beik Imanvardi in “Greedy” (1973) and “Monster” (1976). Other significant works include “Respect for a Friend” (1977) and “Dying with Love” (1978), where he collaborated with fellow voice actor Hossein Erfani, an esteemed figure in Iranian dubbing.
