By the mid-1980s, however, he gradually stepped away from his administrative responsibilities. In 1988, he officially left his roles in dubbing, radio drama management, and the performing arts center to devote all his time to teaching and filmmaking through the art school. It was in this period that he embarked on a new creative journey.
