Aristocrat Indian wedding with a $2 million performance by Jennifer Lopez

And then came the moment that transformed a billionaire wedding into a truly global entertainment event.

Shortly after the sacred rituals were completed, international pop superstar Jennifer Lopez took the stage for what was described by guests as a “private concert of royal scale.” Her performance turned the historic palace grounds into a full-scale live show worthy of the world’s largest arenas.

Lopez stunned the audience with multiple outfit changes, including a pale pink sari designed exclusively for the event, a shimmering gold dress, and a dramatic black bodice encrusted with crystals. She performed some of her most iconic hits, including “Waiting for Tonight” and “Get Right,” with backup dancers and full choreography.

Between songs, Lopez addressed the newlyweds with warmth and sincerity, ending the night with a heartfelt blessing:

“I hope these two families will grow closer on this beautiful day, and may God bless us all.”

For many guests, the performance alone rivaled the entire budget of a luxury wedding in Europe or the Middle East.Among the most visually stunning elements of the reception was the wedding cake—an architectural wonder in edible form. Standing at approximately 4.5 meters high, the multi-tiered masterpiece was designed to resemble a white palace rising layer by layer into the night sky.

The cake was crafted by renowned French luxury cake artist Bastien Blanc-Tayeux, who later shared his experience on Instagram with a post that quickly went viral:

“Last night at the Udaipur City Palace, we celebrated the marriage of Nitra and Vamsi with a cake inspired by Rajasthani architecture and iconic Indian animals. What a night it was.”
