As he became increasingly involved in capital’s cultural community, Farhi established relationships with writers, musicians, and artists who recognized his vocal abilities. His growing reputation eventually led to an invitation to perform at a national celebration held at the Embassy of India. This prestigious event became one of the defining moments of his early career because it introduced him to one of Iran’s leading musical figures, Ruhollah Khaleghi.
Meeting Ruhollah Khaleghi opened new doors for the young singer. Khaleghi, an influential composer, conductor, educator, and advocate of Iranian classical music, immediately recognized Farhi’s potential. Impressed by his voice, Khaleghi encouraged him to pursue formal musical education rather than relying solely on natural talent.
