Together, Alec, Konstantin, Galina, and Leila form an unlikely alliance. Their cooperation is based not on friendship or political agreement but on necessity. Each member has different skills, information, and loyalties. Alec represents American intelligence, Konstantin and Galina represent Soviet intelligence, and Leila operates on behalf of Iranian law enforcement. Their conflicting backgrounds create opportunities for suspicion and disagreement, but their shared objective keeps them together.
As the investigation continues, the group attempts to reconstruct the Baron’s operation. They must determine how the missile was transported, where it has been hidden, and how the terrorists intend to launch it. At the same time, they must identify the Baron’s agents and prevent them from discovering how much the investigators know.
