Mohammad Motazad Bahri (1297–1386) was a lawyer and politician during the period of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Mohammad Bahri was born in Shiraz in 1297. His father was a lawyer. In 1316, he entered the Faculty of Law of Capital University. After finishing his studies, he returned to Shiraz and worked as a lawyer. During these days, he created an intellectual circle with a group of Shiraz intellectuals, including Rasul Parvizi, Fereydon Tolli, and Ibrahim Golestan, and due to the attraction of Marxism, he became a member of the Tudeh Party of Iran in the years after the fall of Reza Shah.
