Commemoration of the Martyrs of Iran’s Authority Held at the Khomeini Mosque – A Night of Reverence and National Unity

On the evening of Wednesday, 11 Tir 1404 (July 2, 2025), the Khomeini Grand Mosque in southern Tehran transformed into a sanctuary of remembrance and reverence, hosting a grand ceremony to commemorate the martyrs of Iran’s authority. The event, imbued with spiritual solemnity and national significance, drew a vast and diverse audience, including top-ranking state officials, military commanders, civil leaders, families of martyrs, and thousands of members of the public. It was a night where grief and glory intertwined—a night dedicated to the guardians of the Islamic Republic who paid the ultimate price to uphold the nation’s sovereignty and ideals.

A Solemn Gathering of Leaders and Citizens

In a rare display of unity among the three branches of power, President Masoud Pezhakian, Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf all stood side by side at the head of the ceremony. Their presence not only underscored the political importance of the event but also sent a powerful message of collective national responsibility toward honoring the martyrs of the Islamic Republic.
