The Life of Korous Sarhangzadeh

Korous Sarhangzadeh was a pop and traditional music singer whose expressive voice and emotional performances earned him a respected place in the history of Persian music. Best known for his interpretations of classic songs, he became one of the notable vocalists of the 1960s and 1970s, preserving the elegance and poetic traditions of Persian music.

Born in 1937 in Pariz, a town in Kerman Province, Sarhangzadeh developed a passion for music at an early age. Throughout his career, he collaborated extensively with renowned violinist and composer Habibollah Badiei for more than a decade. Together, they produced memorable recordings that combined sophisticated orchestral arrangements with heartfelt vocal performances. He also performed works composed by prominent musicians such as Majid Vafadar and Majid Lashgari.
