8.Davood Pizza (Opened in 1340)
Davood’s is small Pizzeria with very limited seating. There are four choices on the menu; they are “essentially the same pizza” according to an employee. Each pizza is 12,000 Tomans The interior is old looking, in a good way. There is a sign that reads “No Bullshitting”, among other interesting decorations. After ordering, a tinfoil wrapper full of chopped-up sausages is presented. A minute or so later, pizza arrives. Far from “American style”, the pizza is small, has ketchup as sauce, and is layered. What makes Davood’s pizza is the presentation. The tinfoil wrapped food, the cramped area, the neighborhood, it all makes the trip worthwhile.
