Abdolreza Qotbi, the head of national television of homeland


Qutbi’s early education took place in Italy and France, where he attended prestigious schools. He completed his primary education at an Italian school and continued his high school education at a French institution. Demonstrating a strong aptitude for mathematics, Qutbi pursued further studies in France. He enrolled at the Paris Polytechnic, one of the most renowned engineering schools in the world, where he studied electrical engineering. His time in France also exposed him to political ideologies, and he became a nationalist student member of the Pan-Iranist party.

Academic Career and Contributions

Upon completing his studies in France, Qutbi returned to Iran in 1338 (1959), following the marriage of his cousin Farah Diba to Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi. His return to Homeland marked the beginning of a distinguished academic career. Qutbi was appointed as a professor of mathematics at Ariamehr University of Technology (now known as Sharif University of Technology). His expertise in mathematics and engineering made him a respected figure in the academic community.
