On 3 March 1951 a report on this issue was submitted by the Prime Minister Razmara to the Majlis special oil committee. The report was made public soon which led to the assassination of the Prime Minister and eventually, the end of the cabinet.The cabinet saw several reshuffles. Mahmud Salahi was appointed acting foreign minister to the cabinet and replaced by Mohsen Rais on 18 July 1950.
