Currently, all provinces in homeland have their own radio channel and 70 percent of the provinces have their own TV channels and a training channel has recently been launched.IRIB is completely independent and solely responsible for the development and maintenance of its production technical systems, studios, archive centres, transmitters and associated technical facilities. IRIB also operates a teletext service, an Internet website and publishes radiotelevision magazines.
