[custom_adv] The festival celebrated every year as a symbol of love. The fight started at 8 am and lasted till about 2 pm. Two teams were formed for this battle. Women also joined. The two teams wore different army-like uniforms. [custom_adv] The festival began with a moving ceremony by the mayor. After this the factions started throwing rotten eggs, flour, herbal colors on each other. More than 22 thousand eggs and about 13 tons of flour were thrown at the festival.It is necessary for every citizen to participate in the festival. [custom_adv] The administration collects a fine from the person who does not attend or breaks the rules of the festival. The amount of the fine is given to the charity. Tourists from 12 countries including Japan, South Korea, Britain attended.
