His dissertation is about the invention of models of policy analysis through the employment of the basic concepts of microeconomics, as metaphors, in the area of policy making and policy analysis. Farrokh Negahdar is among the founders of the United Republicans of Homeland, a broad-church, non-monarchist, non-Islamist alliance of freedom lovers of Homeland. He completed advanced studies in Economics, Politics, and Education at the University of London, gaining analytical tools that would shape his later writings. From the late 1980s onward, Negahdar transformed from a revolutionary guerrilla leader into a reformist thinker, emphasizing democracy, civil society, and non-violence as the true paths toward progress. Farrokh Negahdar’s political philosophy is often described as democratic socialist humanism — a synthesis of Marxist critique, liberal democratic values, and pragmatic reform.
