Shirin Abu Aqleh (April 3, 1971 – May 11, 2022) was a Palestinian journalist who worked for 25 years in the Al-Jazeera Arabic network. He was one of the active journalists in the Middle East who covered news related to Palestine. On May 11, 2022, while he was covering the news of the Israeli army’s attack on the city of Jenin in the West Bank, he was targeted by Israeli forces and died due to a bullet wound to the head.
