Kujaveh” in the wedding ceremony of Turkmens

[custom_adv]

Marriage and birth increase the power of the family and clan and accelerate population growth. Among the Turkmens, it is called the Ovi family, and several Ovi together form the smallest economic and social unit of Turkmen called the Ube. The marriage ceremony in this tribe does not belong to the groom’s family but involves all the people of the tribe. They collectively host the ceremony and divide the tasks, responsibilities, and even some of the expenses among themselves.
