Along with learning elementary school lessons, Mohammad Montazeri started farming and then worked as a worker in a casting workshop, making spoons and forks in order to help support his family. He became a Qom seminary. He learned most of the seminary-level courses and even extra-jurisprudence courses from his father. His professors in Qom Seminary include Ayat: Ruhollah Khomeini, Seyyed Mostafa Mohagheq Damad, Hossein Ali Montazeri, and Ali Meshkini. He got married in May 1358, and the fruit of that marriage was two children.
