Mohammad Montazeri, at the beginning of April 1345, to confirm Khomeini’s declarations, signed religious scholars against the government of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, and the distribution of leaflets was assigned. In the interrogations about the revolution and the people, he openly said, “I am an imitator of Ruhollah Khomeini; my opinion is the opinion of Ruhollah Khomeini.” In Shahrivar 1345, he was transferred from Qazalqala prison to Qasr Prison No. 4 in Tehran.
