Unpublished photos from Shahram Jazayeri’s first trial in February 2008


In 2007, Shahram Jazayeri was sentenced to 11 and 11 years in prison for his accusations, rejected the amount of 48 million 600 thousand 185 US dollars to the National Bank of Iran and the Export Guarantee Fund, paid a fine equal to twice the mentioned amount (97 million 200 thousand and 370 USD) to the fund of the Islamic Republic of Iran government, and was banned from commercial activities in the export and import sectors, as well as from obtaining any banking facilities, including Rials and foreign currency, for ten years. His accusations were: 1. Acquiring wealth through illegal means 2. Paying bribes repeatedly and to different people 3. Fraudulently obtaining exemption from the public service system; 4. Exercising influence against legal rights and regulations 5: Unauthorized possession of property and confiscated funds 6: Unauthorized departure from the country’s borders (escape from prison).
