During his working life, he translated some outstanding works of world literature, including the works of John Steinbeck, Ernest Hemingway, Arthur Miller, and Samuel Beckett. “Who’s Afraid of Whom?” “Cats and Roosters,”  “Children and Pigeons,”  “Our Heart: Our Digestive System,”  “The Paper House Sparrow,”  “The Poet and the Sunshine,”  A Gift for Children Beside  Shat,” “Fried  Fish,” “Victory over the  Night,” an “Sing Me a Story” are among his writings and translations for children. During his life, he won various literary awards several times, including the Bratislava Biennial Golden Apple Award for the book “To Live Together.” Cyrus Tahbaz died on March 25, 1377.
