I wanted to capture the moment; incredible images of the way the horse locked on to The Queen and looked straight at her.She also took the time to talk to various members of the troop – officers and soldiers – unprompted. In all the times I’ve been around The Queen, it was not unusual for her to take time to talk to the people who were there, such as grooms and members of the Household Cavalry or King’s Troop, as well as the horses.
