Mahmoud Afshartos (born in 1986 in Tehran; died on May 2, 1332 in Tehran) was an Iranian military commander who was appointed to the position of director general of Shahrbani in 1331 by Mohammad Mossadegh, the then prime minister. At the beginning of May 1332, he went missing on Khanqa Street, and on May 6, during an extensive search, his lifeless body was found in Telo Cave, located in Lashkarak hills in the north of Capital.
