Despite the efforts of Euronews to shed light on Ahmadinejad’s presence in Budapest, both the National University of Public Service (NKE) and the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs remained tight-lipped. When approached for comments, NKE’s press office declined to provide any information, while the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs chose not to respond at all. This veil of secrecy only served to heighten suspicions and fuel speculation about the nature of Ahmadinejad’s visit.
