Describing his presence in Budapest as an insult to the memory of Holocaust victims, the Embassy issued a scathing statement rebuking the former Iranian president. They highlighted Ahmadinejad’s history of Holocaust denial and anti-Semitic rhetoric, pointing to his inflammatory remarks during the “Review of the Holocaust: Global Vision” conference held in Capital in 2006.
