Hossein Amirabdollahian’s Funeral Assembly


As Foreign Minister, Amir-Abdollahian focused on strengthening Iran’s regional alliances. He worked closely with allies such as Russia and China, fostering economic and military cooperation. These efforts were aimed at countering the influence of Western powers in the Middle East and ensuring Iran’s strategic interests were protected.Amir-Abdollahian played a critical role in the negotiations surrounding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as the Homeland nuclear deal. He worked tirelessly to ensure that Homeland’s rights and interests were safeguarded during the negotiations, advocating for the lifting of economic sanctions in exchange for Homeland’s compliance with nuclear regulations. His diplomatic efforts were instrumental in maintaining a dialogue with the P5+1 countries (the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany), despite significant challenges and setbacks.
