Fereydon Farrokhzad, apart from having an academic education in political science, was a poet, writer, programmer, director, actor, singer, and creator of several television programs, including the successful program “Silver Clove” in Iran. He introduced a large number of famous Iranian artists to the public, including Sattar, Abi, Morteza, Shahreh and Shahram Solati, Leila Forohar, Noush Afrin, and Seli. He tried to have his own special way in the field of programming. Some of his poems resembled European political cabarets, and among the amusing pieces, you included criticisms of the politics of the day. Farrokhzad has said in relation to his hosting on television: “I always try to make people realize things that are worth thinking about in a three-hour television program that is full of laughter, jokes, singing, and dancing.”
