Persian women’s volleyball premier league Main article: Iranian women’s volleyball premier league Since 1380, the Volleyball Federation decided to hold competitions in 3 stages of the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2. Eight teams participated in the first round of the Women’s Volleyball Premier League, which competed in two groups of eight teams. The first Premier League final between Pas and Homa was held in March 2008. The second Premier League season with the participation of six teams was held in 2001.  The 10th Division One tournament. Women’s volleyball was also held in the first half of 2008. The players in these tournaments used to compete without hijab until 2008. The fourth season of the country’s women’s club and women’s volleyball premier league, in November 2002, ended with the championship of the Homa team in Tehran’s Mehr Hall.
