Following her undergraduate studies, Ansari was selected for the prestigious John Gardner Fellowship Program, which led her to work in the office of United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. She contributed to pivotal initiatives, including the development of the Paris Agreement. Later, she served as a senior policy advisor to Ban Ki-moon’s successor, António Guterres. In 2016, Ansari began pursuing a master’s degree in international relations and politics at St. John’s College, Cambridge, which she completed while continuing her advocacy for climate action on the global stage.
