A Patient Who Has Been Hospitalized in the Psychiatric Ward for 20 Years

Ten iron beds are placed side by side in the rooms, and the floors of the rooms and corridors do not have carpets, considering the long stay of the patients and their physical health. It is true that these patients are chronic and have to stay here for a long time, but this is not a nursing home; it is a treatment center.”

Faces That Change
The way they speak and walk, and even the faces of most patients hospitalized in Pardis One, are slightly different from others, although their behavior is almost normal. The head of the first ward of the campus explains: “These patients are mostly controlled; a patient who has lived here for 20 years and is taking medication no longer has any symptoms of the disease.”
