This tale about Henry Ziegland/Ziegland of Honey Grove, Texas and an unlucky bullet has no verified sources and seems to have started spreading on the internetz in March 1996, subsequent to originally appearing (without sources) in the 1989 book “Incredible Co-incidences” by Alan Vaughan, which has a bad Kirkus Review here.
