Gaffney-Adams, MD, says some of the ingredients of your favorite bug spray may raise an eyebrow, specifically, “organophosphates,” found in pesticides, herbicides, nerve agents, and chemical agents. They’re also known as plasticizers, which is about as scary as they sound.
